Somebody put a lot of time and forethought into that bike.  Shame it wasn’t maintained.

Welcome.  I like the two into one high fishtail and it is certainly unique.  Good luck with the build!

Though you do want the bowl snug to the carb and a good gasket those are really just for splash seal.  The level of gas normally should be just below that line.  Sounds like you need to retest your float seal and level in the bowl.  On well worn seats of older carbs a solid polishing and float needles with viton tips can make a world of difference.

Looks like a fun little bike.  Couple good shots of you too.  I am sure she’ll like it on the street.

We had 36 riders registered but, less than half showed up this year.  Cold, wind, and rain all day so, as to be expected many stayed home.  Looking forward to the 2020.

Thank you Kaptain.  Sorry to hear you missed it.  There’s always next year though.  I got the clear lenses off Fleabay a couple years ago.  Sorry I can’t remember the seller now.  I switched most of my bulbs over to high output LED’s.  I didn’t really need to change the lens I just wanted to get maximum amount of light out.  The fronts are amber.  The rear are red.  I also changed the fixtures in back to dual filament like the fronts and added a brake line circuit.  That way the rear turn signals act like brake lights if they are not flashing.  I can always go back to the stock lens and without changing the LED bulbs.  The red over rides the amber.  They are superbright.  🙂

Another fun filled ride.  Very warm for this time of year 90° / 32°.  No problem for the twin.  Even with my fairing on which I was a little concerned about.  Hope everyone else had a safe trip too!

Welcome aboard Leonard.  Looks salvageable to me and with your experience should be road worthy in no time.  Good luck!
