Few more parts fitted, time for a good tidy up now!!

Hi Mike,
It’s the small bits that take the time + I am cleaning up things before I fit them.

Swing arm, Steering, Battery box and Electrics.

Now has engine, Messed up a calliper seal last night, took out the piston and the calliper was full of gunge so I poured some petrol in to soak overnight but in such a hurry (it was nearly time for bed)forgot to take out the main seal!! Well anyway its big enough to use as a back tyre now!!! Just ordered a new on from e-bay £3.50 delivered so not so bad.

Looking nice and shinny back from the coaters.

At least you know what the problem is,They are not difficult to repair with a bit of solder once emptied.

I wish my KZ wasn’t in a million bits! (might not be by Christmas;) )

That is very very nice,I drempt of those instead of girls when I was at school !!

Lol, I had already made my mind up to lay it on its side and lift the frame off the engine, may get around to it in the morning, I am actually more concerned about getting it back in when the frame has been coated 🙁 It looks quite tight and very very heavy!

Cheers, I will give it a try then have a dry run at getting it back in again before I get the frame coated.

Storing them is a bit of a problem, I have two sheds, one garage and a caravan which we modified with a door on the back, we can get race bikes in then when we arrive at the circuits we take the bikes out then have the caravan to sleep in.
Most of the time 3 Bikes live in that!!
