#OOPS#!
It’s not good guys. After winning his ebay auction i travelled 500 miles with Tango on Saturday only to find all the stuff he was selling was NOT from a twin. I had noted the carbs were off a GPZ500 but that was a bonus to me. The from i haven’t got much of a clue what engine was in it but it sure as hell wasn’t a 750 Twin. I have…[Read more]

That first pic looks like what is needed for electronic ignition. I will check it out with you pal.
Another point to note with using points is that as they work on a spring you do get a small amount of uncontrolled bounce. This gets progressively bigger with wear. All in all Electronic ignition gives a better controlled and strong more reliable…[Read more]

Hi Lonesome Twins,
I had the opportunity to buy a LTD, it was not to expensive 😉
It is not running and need a change of the motor ! The cable work is not original and is done badly.
It stood for 15 years now and the owner failed to repair it.
He damaged the LTD motor in 1998 and swapped that with a company and they shipped a B1/B2 motor.
So…[Read more] -

4000km! That is poor. I generally get about 8000 on a rear and front probaby 12000 with the BT’s
I use to use BT20’s on my ZRX (Michelin Pilots now). They are a very good all rounder.

He has not changed the jets from what was in the carbs. I think they were 134’s but can not say if that is standard for the GPZ500. The carbs will go straight on the CSR, LTD and K i think too as they are 34mm. If they are to be fitted to the B models and G then they would need CSR/LTD rubbers on the head or you can use Suzuki GS500 rubbers with a…[Read more]
