Well just back in from the garage. Trying the replacement coil. Still no go.
And now it looks like no spark at the points again……

have had enough now. What with the thing not wanting to be sorted and no money thanks to hmrc i reckon it’s time to sell it on to some one who can sort it.

Think a grand is a fair price….

I am not sure what else I can suggest now. Assuming everything has been checked for the obvious disconnection, broken wire etc it is a matter of going through the system and checking each component. I hope you don’t give in.
