For what they cost I would never reuse bearings these days if I am at that stage especially with the force you needed to get the spindle out.

MMM thought they would be the same as the B’s but Kawasaki are giving a different part number. I don’t know what the difference is but maybe it is something as simple as length as the springs are a different number too whereas the bottoms are the same. I am quite sure all your bits (mudguard, brakes etc) would fit on B forks which will go straight…[Read more]

Just finished speaking to Kaye. She is running GPZ500 carbs. I am checking I have what she needs to put standard carbs on it. I think CSR carbs will go straight on a K model. I have airbox too.

Normally I would say being side tracked is no excuse but OMG!!! I just love steam trains. Arguably one of the best ever engineering feats especially when you think how crude engineering was in those days.
