Hi Scruffystuff
My understanding so far is we will be crossing from both ports. 3 from Hull and 2 from Harwich as things stand so the choice is entirely yours. The sailing times I have selected will enable both parties to arrive at the Rotterdam meeting café within 5 mins of each other subject to the efficiencies of the respective ports so…[Read more]

Hey Michael
Your offer is greatly appreciated and respect and understanding with lending NOT selling. |These seem hard to get hold of. Let me see what I can do here in the UK before I take up your offer, I don’t want to break someone else’s

I can assure you we will be organised to cover most eventualities by carrying essential spares, tools and items to overcome issues. We try not to carry unescessary duplicates between us so that lets us carry more variety.
When we met the Germans in 2006 in Belgium we travelled about 2000 miles in total and had only 2 incidents. One was a dodgey…[Read more]

Het scruffystuff where have you been hiding? Luxemburg isn’t going to be that far altogether you know. We only have 600km/375 miles there and back once we land in Holland. That’s 300km/187.5 miles each way with a day to do each ride so don’t let that put you off cos it will be easy cruising. The more the merrier I say.

In my opinion £5000 is excessively high for a twin in any condition. I believe i have seen the same bike and yes the condition does appear to be excellent.
The highest price i had seen till this one was £3000. This bike didn’t sell and eventually dropped to £2200 and i haven’t seen it since so do not know if it sold. One of our members sold an…[Read more]

I’ve just spoken to Hoggy and he has explained a bit about how it is wired so I think I understand better what your problems could be. I have sent you a Private Message

That does indeed sound like a major wiring connection issue. Can’t you check it through yourself? Maybe its just a connector come out? Have you asked Hoggy?
