We went back again in 2014. That trip there were 3 twins from the UK but we had 52 twins in total at the meeting. We will be going back although the next trip will probably be Glemseck 101 (google it) where our member Beachcomber plans to race is converted twin which will have a turbo and NOS fitted. It will be interesting.

She is definitely a B4 with one or 2 differences. Yes you have a B1 front end with leading caliper mount but what about the caliper itself? I can help with the correct forks with trailing caliper mounts. The forks were completely different. Different bottoms, different tubes, different inners and different tops. I think they were slightly shorter…[Read more]

I’ve spoken with OSpipes and yes they still do a 750 twin exhaust. They are not a stock item, they are made to order and he would need the bike for a day. At around £600 (like the one in the picture) it is not cheap but it is fully polished in Stainless Steel and comes with all brackets and fittings. The price may vary according to exactly what you want.

That is indeed a great find Smiddl. I have not heard of them and will also chase them up. Thank you for sharing which is exactly the spirit this site is about.
The US seat as you refer to is from the G model which was predominately an American model and stepped. The B models had a much flatter seat with US versions not have the pillion strap.…[Read more]

Hi Marksav
I can definitely supply a seat and depending exactly what you want I can possibly help with the exhaust too.
Exhausts can be made and I am currently in talks with a new guy i’ve met local to me in Bolton who can make them. He has also pointed me towards another who specialises in making classic bike exhausts. I will report back when I…[Read more]

Hi Marksav and welcome to the site.
As coleighf said you won’t regret it and I am so pleased to hear you want her in her former glory. I am currently restoring my UK registered B1 which will be followed by a UK registered B2. With coleighf’s B3 and your B4 we are well on the way to getting a full set of original 750 twins together here in the UK.…[Read more]

Hello Millosman and a big welcome back. I did remember your name when I approved your application.
Once these bikes get under your skin it’s difficult to get away. I know this only too well as I have been totally taken over now with several bikes and a rather large collection of new and used parts.
I have now taken over the site as you can…[Read more]

Hi
I’ve taken a closer look at the bars and now don’t think they are original. The original ones are higher and more swept back. I’ve changed mine on the CSR from that style as I found elbows banged on your side when turning. The bars fitted look more Z900 style to me but better for riding in my opinion.
The cream side panel is the correct panel…[Read more]

Hiya meatfeast and welcome.
Its a tough call as to the value as it totally depends on who wants them. They also vary according to the model.
Which casings are you referring to? What condition are they? Do you have any pictures?

This is what your bike will have looked like originally
It was only made in Candy Red so if the logbook says Blue it has had a colour change.
The handlebars look original to me, that’s how the American styling was in those days. Obviously you can change them if you wish but you will probably need to change the clutch cable and both throttle…[Read more]

Hello Furiousjammin and welcome from sunny Bolton.
She is screaming 1980 ‘G’ model to me. Looks very original apart from the missing side panel and the paint job. I am though very curious as to how you managed to get that soap bubble effect?
One thing you will find with these bikes is that generally they are pretty robust. The main issue they…[Read more]

Sorry RoyB but I don’t have any . . . yet (watch this space)
These springs were never offered as a replacement part either by Kawasaki or anyone else. Like all springs they stretch and weaken with use. If these springs do that it will mess with the timing. I talked to Zpower and they went forward and got someone to make them which as you rightly…[Read more]
