I’ll look into events in the area, usually there are things going on at Billing Aquadrome. A big campsite which hosts the fizzy / moped event each year.
There’s always bike weekends at Santa Pod too.

Technique is the most likely candidate for not starting on the kick if the electric starting is ok. The electric starter takes more life so you get a weaker spark, and hareder to start, the opposite of what you have here.

Got to the British Superbikes, had a great day, but problems with the Z750 on the way back. One cylinder has gone awol not sure why yet but may call on some help here if I need any parts 😉

The only course of action is to pull off the side cover and inspect the kickstart mechanism. I’ll try to scan in the page of the manual, or dig out a copy of the scans I had hereabouts as soon as I can.

Welcome to the club, there are lots of parts available residing in the members garages and lockups (all I’ll say is keep in with Philpass).
You can use z650 forks on the z750 as they are the same diameter, but 1″ longer and easier to find.

Our local museum had its classic vehicle show, and there was a Z750 twin displayed there – mine.
There seem to be a lot more Japanese bikes at classic bike shows now, and I took pics of a few at the show, they’re posted on my blog linked in my signature…

what do you mean by “seat Strips”?
I still haven’t got around to covering my seat yet, and need the trim strip around the edge. I am also missing the strap across the seat cushion.
