Hi
I do prefer the shorter american one – let me know what sort of price you are after.
I’ll be stripping my one down soon for a repaint of the frame. I was looking at my front mudguard and it has bout 6 dimples down each side near the brackets where it must have been spot welded. What i’m thinking is i’ll fill these to make them smooth and…[Read more]

Jon replied to the topic Apparent source of oil leak, not the head gasket. What's going on? in the forum How To Fix It 5 years, 9 months ago
Hi
I’m new here and to z750b’s but i picked my one up and it had masses of oil on engine and everything down wind particularly left hand side.
One thing i thought was odd was the cam cover being bolted to the frame? Surely if the engine vibrates this will interfere with the cam cover gasket?

Hi all
I took my head off as have been getting oil spreading around the outside front of the cylinders and working it’s way round as it’s blown by the wind. Thought it was the head gasket but when I got the head off, the only sign of any oil is from these two holes, either in the cylinder block, or else from the matching holes in the head.

Hi Andy.
Thanks but it wasnt the regulator in the end. It was the capicitor. It gave some funny running issues. I didnt think it would be that as it tested fine on the bench. Just goes to show, change it any way.
Thought you guys might be inerested:
I didnt change the capacitor as it’s hard to get good ones these days
Went for this and it runs…[Read more]

Hi chaps. Was having trouble with regulator I thought.turned out to be condensor. I would set off and bike ran fine and after a wile it would start miss firing. Thought at first it was coils when they got hot, an old common problem on lots of jap bikes. I had changed condenser twice with new so never suspected. And strangely the condensor tested…[Read more]

Hello everybody,
I just wanted to say hi after a long time! I hope you are all well and healthy.
My Twin is still running well, just needs some attention from time to time. In the meanwhile, I bought another twin – well kind of, it is BMW F800R. I use it mostly for daily commute to work , not a bad bike to be honest. Here is a summer photo of my…[Read more]
