Michael replied to the topic Where to get new rear wheel Cush Drive Rubber in the forum Bike Related Sales and Wants 12 years, 1 month ago
Yes the Cush Rubbers are different. The B has 6 individual rubbers where as the CSR and LTD have a full ring but that does not mean they will not fit. It is something I have not tried yet.

You will all be invited and welcome Michael and the ACE café is a must I feel. I am hoping we might set the date when they have their Kawasaki Day. That would be awesome

Old ones with a bit of play can be recovered by putting pieces of sheet rubber in to take out the play.

Good question Dougyt. I would start by asking Zpower and see if they are still current. If not I have a few for the CSR which might fit?

2015 is the 10th anniversary of the Lonesometwin. We are going to organise a party of celebration to which everybody is invited. It will probably be in the South of England and include a trip to the ACE café amongst other things. No date has been set yet but I will start to organise things after Belgium. I was going to announce this in Belgium…[Read more]

I do understand Marko. It is a shame but you have to set your priorities.
Thank you for the invite Michael. I definitely want to attend your party but I am doubting I will be able to have a 2nd trip abroad this year

That is such a shame. We were looking forward to meeting you also and to seeing your bike. Can’t you change your job?

Michael replied to the topic Z750 Twins for sale in Italy in the forum Bike Related Sales and Wants 12 years, 1 month ago
Ok Michael. I made the assumption of the VN800 going from the advert. I do not know the model that well. It is a very interesting machine though. I wonder how it rides?
BTW Marko there is no problem starting a new thread.

Excellent Michael. Thank You.
I have a set of carbs for mine with stage 3 jets fitted. I did not expect to get them set up for Belgium but with this you never know.
Cheers

I believe Dougyt’s are genuine Kawasaki wheels and yours too buddy. Check the castings and they will have Kawasaki cast on them. I think the bearings are the same. Will check that out later as I have some if needs be 😀

I have never seen anything like that before. A VN800 with a 750 twin engine in it. Not a bad price either. Now that’s one for Philpass

Good start Dougyt. I can get bearings cheap up here if you have trouble. £2.50 each (£5 a wheel) if you struggle now keep up the hard work pal.

Cap heads look great and are very practicable. I have them fitted on my CSR but only on one side. I haven’t got around to doing the other yet but will do hopefully before Belgium.
Looks like your having a great time out there Marko. The bike looks amazing (just needs a grab rail) and the scenery is awesome

Thanks guys. The downpipes were discoloured before the slashcuts were fitted . You can see that in post 116 of this thread. They haven’t got any worse yet

It has come out well. I like it so decided to fit it and see how that looks. I am very happy with it and cannot wait for the rear one to arrive and get that one done as well

I’ve been having a bit of a play. I want a longer rear mudguard because of the way the number plate looks the way round I have fitted it. Michael has found one for me and as we speak it is in transit. It is not the best from a cosmetic point of view and has had some welding done to it in the mounting area so I have had the thought of painting a…[Read more]
