I have one very similar to the first you showed Michael. Mine fits a 1/2″ drive socket set. I have not seen the other 2 types before.
Cheers for that

We can get those out mate. I bit of local heat and a pair of stilsons will suffice 😀
Will try and source you new studs too.
As far as the rest of the work is concerned its a big well done from me. I can’t wait to see her finished and go out on the road

Easy mistake GR8FULZED i just did the same 🙂
Would be interesting to see where they get their info from. Ive asked DVLA but they said they can’t tell because of data protection. Also the figures quoted for the 750 Y seem low

It is dragging out Michael.
My twin may get its 1st and last spin soon. I want to take it off the road to do it up. Want the ZRX out too. Might have to ignore the weather and just go. I need it and i need it now! 😎 -

TANGO
I have totaly messed up with my figures in my previous post about jetting. I was working with 0.5% to 1% and not 5% to 10%. My apologise.
I agree with what Michael has suggested. From my experience with other twins i would be looking at a range of 128 to 132 so any of these should start quite easily and be minimum adjustment if it doesn”t…[Read more]

Well based on all the info supplied so far i would suggest as follows;
Your petrol tap should have 2 outlets. I don’t know what bike the one with 3 outlets is off but it appears to me that the blanked off spiggot is a mod to allow it to work on your bike. If you decide to use this one then make sure the spiggot is sealed properly.
From working…[Read more]

Yeah i agree there if those parts were used. I was mainly looking at the frame mod. Ohlins to me are very expensive and i don’t ride hard enough to need them. I would probably use KYB’s like i have on my ZRX. Probably LTD forks and standard powder coated spoke wheels. God im so tight with money 😀

Michael started the topic Shims – centralised buying planned in the forum Bike Related Sales and Wants 13 years ago
Hi there,
we try to organise a centralised buying of shims from http://www.precisionshims.com.au
, Australia.
They have the 32mm shims from 2,00 to 4,00 mm in 0,02mm increments.
That means we can order e.g. 240, 242, 244, 246, 248. 250 sized shims. Not like the factory ones with 240, 242.5(242), 245, 247.5(248), 250.Is anyone interested…[Read more]
