Hi KawaKurt
It is some time since we last spoke and stock has changed.
I do have a starter motor here. I do not know it’s history but it does spin freely. I would still recommend cleaning and re greasing it though. Postage is not cheap to Norway.
I will send you a private message.

Hi Danny and welcome to our site.
Yes you are right it is indeed a rare model, a K2 as I mentioned earlier and in original colour scheme. I have not seen one before and I am quite sure neither have most people here..
When the 750 twin was launched back in 1976 it was never a popular bike. They made 12 models in total and not one of them was a…[Read more]

Well firstly congratulations on getting her running.
It does NOT matter which order the yellow wires are in. It is a 3 phase charging circuit and each of the 3 phases are identical.
I can help with the stator. I will send you a PM.
Cheers

Hi Andy
The conversion to chain drive is simple. All you need to do is remove the pulleys and fit the chain and sprockets. The rear hub is the same fitting for both as is the drive output shaft splined section.
With regards to seat and tailpiece etc then no they do not interchange. However I do have a pattern here that a mould can be made from…[Read more]

Hello Andy and welcome.
I’ve never been that keen on Ducati styling but that really does look nice and a bit of a beast. I compliment my twins with a ZRX1200R.
It is an interesting request you make there as to what you want but more so about what you want to do with it and i’m sure I can help with both.
I have a dismantled K model here, the…[Read more]

That is good progress. When I look at how it was when you bought it I can hardly believe what you have achieved. She is starting to look like a decent bike again.

Why Wemoto for the switch? I can do those for £35 plus postage.
Anyway the switch is generic and used on various models. If memory serves me right you don’t need the spade connector wire. Just tape the end up and tuck it away. The 4 pin plug goes straight in and I think the bullet connector needs to be swapped for a female.

Hi All
I have found a guy to have a go at manufacturing Rear Grab Rails in STAINLESS STEEL. I have sent him one to copy and he has made a sample for me to check out which is on it’s way to me. The price for a One Off is around £100 but if we get a decent volume together it could reduce to around £80. I will post pics when I receive it.

The way to test for the correct shims required is to fit one that is too small (the smaller the better) then measure the gaps. This way you can work out what sizes are required.

Hi Piemuncher! Quite a project there, but definitely do-able. Looks as if it might be a 77 B2? You should be able to get everything you need, Kaptain Kwak will point you in the right direction. Good luck, worth doing.
Do you have any forks?
