TangoParticipantHa Ha never noticed before that even the wheels are split color!
TangoParticipantWow quite a read there mate.
Congrats on the Trophy though, and a nice photo with the VIP.
TangoParticipantI was planning to go over to France early in June. But that could be changed.
I think a few days postponement and a meet for your 48th Birthday sounds like a worth while exercise, If for no other reason it would be a good preparation for your 50th!! :pint: :pint: 😀
TangoParticipantWhat you up to now Phil?
I’m Sorry but your prototype shotgun exhaust was a step to far for me.
I still need to look at the Caf
TangoParticipantHmmmmm?
Now that sounds interesting?
Im Game and with this much notice! Thers plenty of time to save up some beer tokens! :pint:
TangoParticipantCan anyboby tell me where I can get a seat lock from?
Or if anyone knows what other bikes have a lock that will fit?
Its the Last piece I need to finish the bike! 😕
Or if anybody has a B1/B2 that would measure how long the barrel needs to be. That would also be a help.
TangoParticipant
TangoParticipantWow thats nice.
that seat looks like it cost a bob or two. How much if you dont mind me asking. Looks a treat on though!
TangoParticipantWell I got everything put back in place And Everything is working as it should! I did do a another little video that I will get KK to put up in videos for me! I know I haven’t finished yet,But I must say a Very Big Thank You! to all on this forum for your support and invaluable info!
Thanks Guys, and Cheers to Michael as well off http://www.750twin.de Your site was a big inspiration to!
I took a compression test after I got the bike up to working temperature and Here’s the result. It was the same both sides! :pint:

TangoParticipantWooHoo!! Sussed the running on one problem! Not enough fuel was getting through to the carb,I had gone to much on the fuel shut off valve on one side of the carbs!Oh Well.. Oh Well you live and learn eh?
I have succeeded in getting the carbs sorted and the fuel tap has been replaced with the 2nd one that I had refurbished anyway.
All is good. 😎
After a bit of rough running I managed to play with the air screws a little and set the bike to ear,for now!
Here’s a link to a YouTube video, if you want to hear her on the GPZ500 carbs?
TangoParticipantOk Well I have got the bike all built up again, And there seems to be no fuel leak from anywhere?
I even got the bike to fire up for a few turns of the engine,But as far as I can tell she only seams to be running on one side? And then back fires through the carb and stalls?
TangoParticipantThe problem was, When I was putting the fuel in the tank with the fuel tap in the “off” position! All the fuel was P”ssing out of the back of the carbs through the air pods!
So I think I have two problems! One is the tap! and the other is the Floats in the carb bowls are not shutting off!
So I will have to have a look that today!
TangoParticipantWell Folks …. Looks like you will have to put up with my persistent project posting a little more!
Just as I thought id got it cracked!… She eludes me once more!
It got as close as putting fuel in her to see if I could get her to fire in her own right!
Alas Not to be! Its like all good stories Just as you think its coming to an end there’s another little twist!
Well this is a classic! As is the bike so it can only be expected I suppose!
I don’t think the Zmuggler is her name now? I think that’s her class!
Her Name is “The Red Pearl” Her Class is a “Zmuggler”
I say this because I can shorten her name to Pearl, which matches the Cantankerous Old Girl that causes havoc by being stubborn!that she is!
And Ive come to the conclusion that i’m not actually her owner,I’m her carer! 👿
TangoParticipantThink ive got the cable guide.
