It’s June. The sun is shining, the clothes are lightweight. As you drive along you find your head magnetically swivelling round as you pass by –
A: A beautiful woman mostly failing to conceal magnificent breasts with a semi-transparent white blouse and hot-pants from a 70’s chocolate commercial?
    B: A pillar box?

Must admit I find myself agreeing with KaptainSensible. I actually like the colour, but these things need highlights and contrast. Also, the Guzzi engine is nothing but an air compressor with carbs 😛

Love the idea of putting a bike together just for one specific purpose. Looks the part too. Look after it though, you wouldn’t want to get it too wet 😉

Wish I had a drum rear, the disc looks so out of place on these things. It looks out of place on the front too, but that’s a bit more of a challenge.

Verrrrry nice Mike. From the dull yellow glow of the ‘headlight’ it looks pretty original. I was exactly the same as you at 17, the memory lingers doesn’t it? Original pipes are getting to be some sort of a holy grail now, but Michael in Germany knows who thrust fistfuls of euro’s at to get good ones. From my point of view it’s a better use of your hard-earned than, say, an iphone, but YMMV.

Don’t think I will, sorry. The Highways agency is trying to block all routes South from the midlands, as I found out yesterday. The A31, A3M27 and M3 don’t look too clever either, hope too many aren’t put off.

    Austerity, what austerity?

Went there once, the traders all had $ signs in their eyes. Won’t go again. Shame coz the bikes on show were great.
