Hi Richh
I don’t know what your forks are off but they are not from a 750 twin. The twins didn’t have any air balancing pipes. I would guess maybe a 4 cylinder LTD.
If you don’t want to refurb your starter motor there is a company advertising refurbed starters on ebay.
Also I am not sure if you can get a round master cylinder for twin disc.

Theses starters do tend to be sluggish. I would suggest you check all electrical connections are clean and making good contact. I would also suggest to refurb your starter motor. I also strongly recommend going for a different battery such as the mottbat one. There are plenty on ebay. They cost double or so the price of a lead acid type but…[Read more]

Michael replied to the topic Single carb? in the forum Technical Garage 12 years, 6 months ago
Hi Richh
Bolton440 has done it to his 440 bobber SINGLE CARB
It looks good and after some messing it runs very well.
It is also something I am interested in so if you can make the manifolds I would be very interested in one. Let me know a price

You will struggle to find these parts new. The fork tubes and mudguard are specific to the 4 B models and are no longer listed. If you do manage to find them I would think they are very expensive.
The gear change lever is however used on over 30 different Kawasaki models so might still be available.
The handle bar grips were used on over 70…[Read more]

That’s good news Marko.
There are 12 models listed many just being variants of others with minor adjustments.
Soon you will be riding your beloved twin round and grinning from ear to ear

Hi Peppe and welcome. Your Engish with translator is pretty good and better than some English members.
I hope you are OK after your incident. Can you be a bit more precise as to what bits you are needing?
Cheers

She is a nice looking bike mate. Another observation is the right hand engine cover. Yours is in line with the S1 model where as the S2 is different. I think that is as the K (belt drive) model

Welcome back scruffystuff. We updated the site and had to put everyone back in by hand so sadly we lost a few. We do have a few more members but not to worry, parts are still quite plentiful.
Good to have you back

Marko it is good to here things are moving along freely although slowly. I wonder sometimes too what half these rules and regulations mean and why at all they exist. Still at least you will be on the road quite soon and enjoying the twin thump

When the Z750’s are set up and tuned right they are almost guaranteed to fire on the touch of the button or on first kick. Unfortunately people don’t keep on top of them (me included) and that’s when they need to be encouraged to start. I am currently going for my 5th starter clutch and sprocket. My bike has actually cracked the starter clutch…[Read more]
