This is what your bike will have looked like originally
It was only made in Candy Red so if the logbook says Blue it has had a colour change.
The handlebars look original to me, that’s how the American styling was in those days. Obviously you can change them if you wish but you will probably need to change the clutch cable andĀ both throttle…[Read more]

Hello Furiousjammin and welcome from sunny Bolton.
She is screaming 1980 ‘G’ model to me. Looks very original apart from the missing side panel and the paint job. I am though very curious as to how you managed to get that soap bubble effect?
One thing you will find with these bikes is that generally they are pretty robust. The main issue they…[Read more]

Sorry RoyB but I don’t have any . . . yet (watch this space)
These springs were never offered as a replacement part either by Kawasaki or anyone else. Like all springs they stretch and weaken with use. If these springs do that it will mess with the timing. I talked to Zpower and they went forward and got someone to make them which as you rightly…[Read more]

That’s one hell of a write up and what an amazing transformation.
It is so frustrating as things are but hopefully we will be able to get out again soon.

Welcome back on board Chris. Always good to have you around with your knowledge and passion.
Price usually goes up with demand. Prices have gone up considerably so demand must be increasing too.
I’ve now fully stripped my B1 and it will be getting refurbed over the next few weeks. I can’t wait to show her off in her new glory

Hi Ed
As I am sure you will have found exhaust parts are not easy to come by. In all cases the original exhaust systems made in 3 main pieces, left side, right side and a joining balance pipe underneath. Therefore you will not find original downpipes on their own unless the silencers have been cut off.
What exactly are you looking for and what are…[Read more] -

Your right with your comments smiddl. It does look a nice paint job. Forks are B1/B2. Everything else is common or shouts B3. It doesn’t massively matter as long as your happy with her. If you check the specification page you will be able to check exactly what model frame and engine you have.
@JP – It looks like a standard seat base that’s been…[Read more]

Open the link again through the library and it should work. Your computer/phone is probably holding the bum link in its cache memory

Hi Smiddl and welcome.
That’s a nice looking twin you have there. Not sure what model though as it has the look of a B1 or B2 with mag wheels. Do you know?

I’ve checked my stock and unfortunately I sold my last one about a month ago. I will keep an eye out for more. I do have a rear carrier if that’s of any interest?

Hi Smiddl
The G panels are off the 1980 750 twin G model (see the specifications section). I believe that 3 of the pins line up and so they will fit straight on.

Hi Colin
Yes I have your message that worked fine. I will reply shortly.
With regards to the magazine issue I too cannot read them. I don’t know why but will investigate and get the problem sorted.
Thanks for the feedback
