Well I have built the bike back up tonight to the stage it can be ridden. So back to where we can start trying to trace the charging problem from scratch.?

With a bit of luck Andy is going to try and come down and have a look at the bike with me tomorrow? Lets hope we find out what the problem is. He has a B1 manual so that’s a bonus to. 🙂

I am so close to shoving this Kawasaki to the Back of the Garage and forgetting about it!
But I really wanted to get it up and running for this Belgium trip.
But it has to be 100% for me to go on it! if its not it would be dangerous for me! because I will be worrying about the bike and Not concentrating on my riding!

The wiring diagram in post #70 (Page 7) shows the wiring running up to the neutral light, the block connector where the two circuits join can be seen more clear in post #53(Page 6)

My head is spinning but If I had a short in this circuit would that explain me constantly blowing neutral bulbs & having charging problems!

I have Just noticed I have Blown my Neutral Bulb again!

This comes from the same connecter block as the Exciter coil? (Is that Correct) is this the round spool of wire that sits inside the flywheel?

That says I should get 0.32 ohms

I get .001?

Is that not wrong I am confused!

OK I have found the Manual I have got is a B4 manual, So Not the same as my bike!

But would you say what I HAVE DONE is right?

??? I haven’t put the foot rests & gear lever back on! As I have a feeling I’m going to be dropping the oil and stripping it all back down again! 🙁

To Be honest with you, I’m feeling the same way about mine at the minuet!

I’m loosing Time! Patience! and Money that I quite frankly don’t have at the minuet! Trying to get a Bike running for a dead line that is fast approaching!

I will hang on for a Little longer though! Why don’t you do the same for a bit!

So Am I correct in saying that With the test from each pin to the engine case. This shows that I have No short from the stator to the case!

But I also think the test on each of the yellow wires shows I have No resistance in the yellow wires! This is Bad isn’t it?
