I then put the Red electrode on each of the 3 pins in turn with the black earthed to the engine case.
I got no change in the reading at all off any of the pins
The reading just stayed at 1.
I then tested each of the 3 pins of the 3 yellow wires coming up into the 3 block connector from the Stator/Generator in the left hand side case.
Black on the single pin and then took a reading with the Red on each of the other two pins.
and then I put Black on one of the two pins and Red on the single pin.
So all three pins where checked!
I got .001 on all three pins
🙂 My Wife has gone to the hair dressers
So I have managed to go on YouTube and look up How to check a stator.
So I have set my multimeter to Ohms (the little horse shoe symbol)
and set it to its lowest setting.😳 😳 😕
I’ve just used a screwdriver before?
started the piston moving then just pushed it back with my thumbs?

I am trying to am trying to spark my wife’s interest in Motobikes again! She has lost it, But still owns two. She has a Kawasaki ZX6R F3 & a Yamaha Xv535 Virago.
I am hoping my Twin will play a part as she feels easyer on the Virago & the Twin is more evenly matched, so I hope to get her out a bit this year!Hi Michael

The Earth and power leads of MY rectifier don’t go direct to the battery on mine? Should they?
