What was the final verdict on 400 ATUs?
They work but slightly different timing but they still work?7th June 2012 at 4:22 pm #8436wedgeParticipantNo the 6 isn’t real, several important flaws made during photoshopping.
Interesting that the threads about custom builds and 3 of them look the same 🙂
5th June 2012 at 9:25 pm #8426wedgeParticipantAh the lesser known four cylinder twin
2nd May 2012 at 9:30 pm #8335wedgeParticipantHiya, I pop in most days but don’t say much cos I don’t know much.
Mines still in bits but a nice cheque from me mam and 2 months off soon might mean progress
2nd May 2012 at 9:20 pm #8389wedgeParticipantDunno about the B3 but the B2 is deffo 335.
Was this a one off sale or an ebay trader as I’m after 350 myself?
Yes I know there’s plenty about but they all tend to be “pic does not show actual shock” and it would be nice to have the correct mounts!
7th March 2012 at 8:56 am #8327wedgeParticipantAvon roadrunner/rider – can’t remember which.
Or (don’t judge me!) Cheng Shins have come a long way, dirt cheap, wide range of fittings and worked really well on my CX500
17th February 2012 at 9:02 pm #8313wedgeParticipantSorry, don’t have the part you need or anything useful to swap but if you end up with spares at the end would be interested in buying one off you.
6th January 2012 at 8:47 pm #8294wedgeParticipantThey definitely hold the o-rings, every rebuild kit I can find has rubber dust seals which I assume go over the top of these but hard to tell as I literally just had shreds of rubber left in mine. I’m hoping when I order the rubber parts that the tinnies are inside.
I think I’ve managed to answer my own question on where the “plug”/spacers go as I was just going off the fiche but the manual has a clearer pic. I still don’t have any but I’m sure I can get some nice thick washers, I can’t see exact thickness being an issue.
6th January 2012 at 12:54 pm #8293wedgeParticipantI have a pic!
Part in question is sitting on the carrier towards the left, just next to the stubs (taped off) that they mount to…
30th September 2011 at 8:44 pm #8264wedgeParticipantyes but day undecided
23rd September 2011 at 11:49 am #8260wedgeParticipantI’ve literally just put down the article about the Chappy’s carb
22nd September 2011 at 4:12 pm #8259wedgeParticipantMost of the bike mags are written around Peterborough and Lincolnshire, which if you live in the same area puts you closest to me: bad luck, I probably know the least of anyone on here, and don’t even have a bike in one piece for photo’s.
Did we never manage to make it into the “Lemon’s” articles? A feature I sadly miss since I was able to take it in the tongue in cheek manner in which it was intended and because I’ve owned or lusted after many of those featured 🙂
29th August 2011 at 7:02 pm #8237wedgeParticipantMust be someone near an old school bike shop that can get them made up, don’t have one myself else the chap down the road could do it using that as the template.
Normally a lot cheaper than you expect it to be. You want an old duffer that does brit bikes, not some spotty oik who wouldn’t know where his #OOPS# was if it didn’t come in a packet from the wholesaler.
28th August 2011 at 11:19 am #8236wedgeParticipantHi and welcome.
They make nice flattrackers
20th August 2011 at 7:11 pm #8191wedgeParticipantpm sent, but not been here that long myself or had the bike long, so I don’t have the spares you’re after and I have no idea where the private message will appear on your screen!!!
