Why Wemoto for the switch? I can do those for £35 plus postage.
Anyway the switch is generic and used on various models. If memory serves me right you don’t need the spade connector wire. Just tape the end up and tuck it away. The 4 pin plug goes straight in and I think the bullet connector needs to be swapped for a female.

Hi All
I have found a guy to have a go at manufacturing Rear Grab Rails in STAINLESS STEEL. I have sent him one to copy and he has made a sample for me to check out which is on it’s way to me. The price for a One Off is around £100 but if we get a decent volume together it could reduce to around £80. I will post pics when I receive it.
Please l…[Read more]

The way to test for the correct shims required is to fit one that is too small (the smaller the better) then measure the gaps. This way you can work out what sizes are required.

Kaptainkwak replied to the topic Need a starter Motor for a B1 in the forum The Trading Post 3 years ago
These are quite a rare commodity. In all my time with twins I have never seen a new one. No one makes an aftermarket version and as far as I am aware these are unique to our twins.
Like all things with moving parts they do have a limited life span and as the starter is unprotected at the front of the engine they get probably more than their fair…[Read more]

Hello stranger.
I did notice you sniffing about and had wondered about that frame you knicked from under my nose ha ha.
That’s a nice tidy project mate and looks quite the part.
Is it for green lane or road use?

That is indeed good news and great progress.
The compression is obviously low and will need to be addressed (156 standard – 114 min with no more than 14 difference between cylinders). This could be down to several things but most likely will be valve clearances and/or stuck rings. Leaking head gasket could also cause this but I think you would…[Read more]

No problem Jon.
Get a piece of M12 threaded bar approximately 650mm lg. Bend around 150mm at 90 degrees to form a handle. On the other end fit 2 M12 nuts and lock them together flush with the end of the bar. The 19mm nuts fit inside the inner fork piston head to hold it still while you undo the allen bolt on the bottom. This is only good on the…[Read more]

That’s fast progress and looking really good so far. It is quite surprising at times just how much a coat of paint can make such a difference. Can’t wait to see the tank, panels and tailpiece.

I remember that one on ebay not too long ago. I was going to bid but backed off last thing as I was furloughed with no help and I have very little room here.
She does look a good one and fingers crossed you get her running soon.

Hello Jimi5150 and welcome to the site.
It is a bit of a grim story you tell so far so let’s try and give it a happy ending.
I would like to know a little more about your bike (age, model etc) so we can ore accurately help and advise you. Any chance of a few pics? I have a decent stock of used and new spares here and can get most parts through…[Read more]
